As you might expect with an estate sale, timelines are often compressed and availability doesn't match your requirements. Fortunately, with West Coast (Brian), they were able to accommodate our urgent need.
What made things more challenging in our case - we were managing a Camarillo sale process from Northern CA. Brian came from a referral by a friend from their business colleague. We never met in person. He was upfront, direct, and said what he could/could not do. One objective was to have the house cleaned out by end of sale and that was easily accommodated.
On the good news front - 1) our target sales goal was exceeded (obviously hard to predict); 2) follow-up on the sale was prompt (next-day report); 3) check delivered by mail before end-of-week with a reasonable-enough accounting of what was sold; 4) the house was clean and ready on the Monday following sale.
Overall - exceeded expectations on all fronts.
Interestingly, because of my feedback to family members...I immediately received an inquiry from someone that will need a estate sale at some point in the future - I had no problem providing additional detail as to why I would use West Coast Estate Liquidators again.

“West Coast Estate Liquidators did an amazing job taking care of the Estate Sale for a long time collector. Brian’s knowledge of art, including Oriental and European and American, books, and some unusual collectibles (ocean liners and their mementos) was incredible. I feel very fortunate to have found him and his team.
They worked for two weeks to organize and catalogue thousands of objects. Brian often worked late into the night finding and sorting valuable items that were haphazardly mixed in with old magazines and clippings.
In addition, Brian’s connections and reputation allowed him to pre-sale several collections that he assembled out of chaos. Without his efforts and knowledge of the markets, there is no way a successful sale would have been possible.
On the days of the actual sale, Brian’s team was well organized, efficient, and able to deal with a great many shoppers quickly and professionally.
